Mondulkiri - December 23, 2024 - Amret is proud to join the National Bank of Cambodia in celebrating “Riel Day” in Mondulkiri Province.

This marks the third time Amret has partnered with the National Bank of Cambodia, having previously participated in events in Siem Reap Province and Ratanakiri Province. Amret continues to support this initiative as the main sponsor, and we are actively involved in its promotion.

The celebration began on the morning of December 12, 2024, in Siem Reap Province, followed by the second event on December 20, 2024, in Ratanakiri Province. On December 23, 2024, the National Bank of Cambodia hosted the same promotional program in Mondulkiri Province. The initiative aims to promote awareness of the use of the riel through the existing banknote system and to encourage the adoption of digital payment systems using the riel, Bakong system, and KHQR system.

This program is designed to enhance public understanding of the benefits of using the riel for transactions and to facilitate easier digital payments for goods, thereby promoting the national currency.

Amret is delighted to continue supporting this initiative to promote the use of the riel, the banknote system, the KHQR system, and financial literacy alongside the National Bank of Cambodia.
