Phnom Penh: On November 11, 2024, Amret Microfinance Institution, one of the leading microfinance institutions in the Kingdom of Cambodia, officially launched its new Digital Loan service through Amret Mobile at the institution’s headquarters, in the presence of over 80 members of Amret’s management and staff.
The Digital Loan is a new product designed to provide additional options for customers, expand market share through the introduction of a unique product, increase customer loan and savings usage rates, promote the use of Mobile Banking, and enhance customer satisfaction. It also protects customers from using high-interest loans outside the system, helping them develop in line with the current market.
All Amret customers can now enjoy the benefits of the new Digital Loan feature, which includes two types of loans:
It is also worth noting that both types of loans have special features, such as offering an automated service that allows customers to apply for a loan and approve it automatically without the need for a staff member to meet, show documents, or visit the location. The service is fast and efficient, enabling customers to apply for loans instantly, receive them instantly, and make loan requests anytime (24/7) with easy conditions.
The Digital Loan is part of Amret’s effort to expand its digital financial services ecosystem beyond Cambodia to provide convenience to customers using Amret Mobile. Amret is committed to further expanding its digital financial services ecosystem to provide more accessibility to customers and contribute to the growth of the financial ecosystem, supporting the government’s long-term strategy of the "Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021-2035."
